Taking advantage of the explosive growth in outdoor and adventure sports the GL2S will bring sponsor dollars into the broader salmon and trout fishing marketplace.  Winners of individual BASS and FLW tournaments are collecting checks ranging from $50,000 to $1,000,000 dollars.  The BASS tournament system of open, invitational, and pro-am tournaments now range the entire United States and bring considerable economic value to the cities and towns where tournaments are held.

Sponsors of these tournaments are not limited to boating and fishing related product companies – advertisers and sponsors now range from automotive manufacturers to insurance companies, major oil companies to small fishing tackle providers.  The sponsor money does not stop with just bass fishing; high dollar tournament series have been developed for walleye, billfish, redfish, kingfish, crappie, and many other fresh and saltwater species.  These tournaments are not limited strictly to the United States, look at the ethnic makeup of any major tournament series and you will see anglers from countries around the globe.  The growing global appeal for fishing related competition continues to expand sponsor value with an ever broadening audience.

The opportunity is not limited strictly to the physical tournament environment as evidenced by the purchase of BASS by ESPN.  Watch ESPN2, Fox Sports, or VS. on any weekend morning and you will find back to back hours of fishing and hunting related programming. The GL2S will maximize tournament exposure through the development of television programming that uses participating tournaments as a content pool.  Fortunately the television program market is not limited to strictly ESPN, other multi-discipline networks such as TNN carry hours of fishing related programming per week.  Entire cable networks have been developed carrying outdoor related programming, the two premiere players in this market are the VS. and Outdoor Network as they have been increasing penetration into American households through cable and satellite TV distribution.

Who are GL2S' customers?  In a broad sense our customers are the communities where our tournaments are held, the committees or organizations that work to execute individual events, the teams and anglers who compete in the tournaments, and the fans who follow the tournaments, watch the shows, and purchase sponsor products.  For GL2S, or any tournament series, to be successful it must deliver the Five F's to our customers
