The Okuma Southwest Michigan Steelheaders Summer Challenge was the second stop of the Gander Mountain 333 and the all new Gimme 5 awarding prizes for biggest fish and combo 333 catches.

The 333 event had a great turn out as 60 boats registered to compete in this fun format where anyone can win by putting together three big fish.  Now with the Gimme 5 challenge coupled with 333 the strategies at play make it even more interesting and fun.  Scenarios such as weighing a fish that may not be one of a team's three largest but might give them a shot at winning the $500 Cannon Big Combo of three fish of different species.  Fred MacDonald and the whole 333 crew has really kicked it up a notch for 2008 with all of these new opportunities to win cash and prizes.

Dreamweaver may have set a Spring, if not overall, 333 record with their massive 57.2 lbs three fish total with two whopper Lake Trout that weighed 22.9 lbs and 19.8 lbs respectively.  Dreamweaver's massive total eclipsed Fishy Fingers who was 14 lbs behind for second place but took the GL2S Big King with an 18.2 lbs. king.  The 333 Big Fish was dominated by Dreamweaver's 22.9 monster giving them a sweep of both top places.

The Gimme 5 awards of $500 cash went to:

The South Haven Steelheaders Big Jon Pro/Am was the third stop of the Gander Mountain 333 and the all new Gimme 5 awarding prizes for biggest fish and combo 333 catches.

The 333 event had a great turn out as 44 boats registered to compete in this fun format where anyone can win by putting together three big fish.  Now with the Gimme 5 challenge coupled with 333 the strategies at play make it even more interesting and fun.  Scenarios such as weighing a fish that may not be one of a team's three largest but might give them a shot at winning the $500 Cannon Big Combo of three fish of different species.  Fred MacDonald and the whole 333 crew has really kicked it up a notch for 2008 with all of these new opportunities to win cash and prizes.

Manistee MaMa took the one-day shoot out where all strategy was out and it was time to put up or shut up and weigh your best three.  Competition was tight as Manistee MaMa beat Spend A Buck by .35 lbs and Living the Dream by .5 lbs.

The Gimme 5 awards of $500 cash went to:

The Huntington Grand Haven Offshore Challenge was the fifth stop of the Gander Mountain 333 and Gimme 5 awarding prizes for biggest fish and combo 333 catches.

The 333 event had a fanatstic turn out with nearly 70 boats registered to compete in this fun format where anyone can win by putting together three big fish.  The Gimme 5 challenge has really brought a new level of fun and opportunities for teams to compete and win, teams are beginning to figure out new strategies for weighing fish that may give them a shot at winning the $500 Cannon Big Combo of three fish of different species.  No Michgan Stinger Brown Trout was weighed so that $500 will rollover to the Bud Pro/Am in Manistee.

Fish ##### weighed the best three they had taking the win at 37.8 lbs followed up closely by Rawhide at 36.1 lbs. and KC-1 at 35.8 lbs.

The Gimme 5 awards of $500 cash went to:

The Dreamweaver Hoosier Coho Club Classic was the first stop of the Gander Mountain 333 and the all new Gimme 5 awarding prizes for biggest fish and combo 333 catches.

There were nice three fish catches brought to the scale for some impressive early season weights.  The Pro division champion Fuzzy Bear took home top honors by winning the 333 with a 3 fish weight of 38.55 lbs including a 13.55 lbs. King and a 13.05 lbs. Lake Trout.  The Rod Father took biggest fish with a 14.25 lbs. King but finished third overall behind second place finisher and Amateur division champion Giv-N-In.

The Manistee Salmon Splash was the ninth stop of the Gander Mountain 333 and Gimme 5 awarding prizes for biggest fish and combo 333 catches.

The 333 event had 70+ boats registered to compete in this fun format where anyone can win by putting together three big fish.  

Hour Time weighed the best three they had taking the win at 56.85 lbs followed by Riverside at 56.25 lbs. and Hammbone at 56 lbs for the closest top three finish so far this season.

The Gander Mountain Ludington Offshore Classic was the eight stop of the Gander Mountain 333 and Gimme 5 awarding prizes for biggest fish and combo 333 catches.

The 333 event had the best turnout so far with 95 boats registered to compete in this fun format where anyone can win by putting together three big fish.  

Tickle Pink II weighed the best three they had taking the win at 55.75 lbs followed up by Lake Effect II at 54.9 lbs. and Silver Addiction at 52.8 lbs.
