Although Charter Fishing comes first, we still attend many of the tournaments on Lake Michigan each year. We start our year in Michigan City then move up the lake with the tournaments and the migration of the fish. The tournaments are usually during a period when fishing is peak in each port. This makes for an awesome fishing experience for our customers. Tournaments are listed on our tournament page of our website and our locations are listed on the calendar page. We typically fish in each port one to two weeks before we move to the next port.
To the present date, Best Chance Too has won more tournaments than any boat on Lake Michigan. Best Chance Too is the only tournament team to win 1st place in all four states on Lake Michigan. We fish the hottest ports on Lake Michigan when fishing is the best. We have placed 1st 42 times in tournaments, and have over 100 top ten finishes since 1994.
