May 30 - June 1, 2008 Huntington's Grand Haven Offshore Challenge

The Hot Spot Sport Fishing Team got a late start in the tournament season this year but what a great start it was!  Our beautiful home port of Grand Haven produced a 1st Place Pro Division win in the Grand Haven Offshore Challenge Ladies & Kids tournament.  Fishing in the tournament were Captain Brett's wife, mother and two aunts.  They are all about having fun, but know how to get down to business when the fish hit hard.  They are a dedicated bunch and over the years such things as lightening (God taking pictures of great action) and 7 foot swells don't deter them.  They hope to fish additional tournaments this year so stay tuned. 

The Grand Haven Offshore Challenge also produced a 6th Place Pro Division placement in the Men's Tournament.  Captain Brett, Captain Dan, Captain Les, RJ and Kurt were thrilled to bring in the full catch of 12 fish each day of the tournament!  A big thanks goes out to the whole team.
